WE DO NOT SELL, RENT, TRADE, OR OTHERWISE MONETIZE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES. Period. Your data is not a product we sell.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. AI-Powered Features (Clarity) - Third-Party Data Sharing
Biome Collective includes an optional AI-powered assistant called Clarity that helps you discover sober events, find recovery meetings, and answer questions about your recovery journey. Clarity is powered by OpenAI, a third-party AI service provider.
Data Collection & Sharing: When you use Clarity, the following data is collected and sent to OpenAI:
• Your query text (the questions you ask Clarity)
• Your city name (if you have provided it)
• Your approximate location coordinates (only if you have enabled location services)
Data NOT Shared with OpenAI:
• Your name, email, or phone number
• Your account credentials or password
• Your profile information
• Your messages, social connections, or other personal data
Third-Party Data Protection: OpenAI processes your queries solely to generate helpful responses. OpenAI is contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for purposes other than providing the AI service. OpenAI's data handling practices are governed by their privacy policy at openai.com/privacy, which provides protections consistent with industry standards.
Your Consent & Control: You must explicitly agree to share data with OpenAI before using Clarity. You can decline and continue using Biome Collective Network without Clarity. If you previously consented but wish to revoke access, you can stop using Clarity at any time.

You can:
• Access and update your information
• Delete your account through Settings
• Opt out of notifications
• Disable location services
• Request an export of your data
